The High Mobility Vehicle (HMV) based SATCOM Communication Shelter (CS) has been designed and developed by NISL as per Customer Specifications for Communication Architecture. The System has been developed as a Built-to-Specification (BTS) Product in accordance with applicable Military Standards. The salient features are:
- C and Ku Band redundant VSAT terminals
- Inter Firing Unit Connectivity through Voice, Data & Video Signal
- Network Centric Architecture
- Secure Radio & Fibre Optic connectivity with other FU Systems
- VoIP Communication with Recording and replay capability
- Radio Network Planning Tool for Deployment Planning
- Transportable by Rail, Road and Air
As part of the customer defined architecture, a Main SATCOM Hub has also been successfully installed and integrated with the Mobile Platforms.
